The Sit-Here Lights

Some lads went to the Blue
Lagoon one evening, saw the
lights of the oil refinery
and said, "Sit here." From
then on they were known as
the "sit here lights".
Like before, like before,
Everybody sit here, sit here and wait
For night to fall, night to fall.

Waiting for the sit-here lights,
How they haunt the night.

Reflected in the river,
Shimmering and strange,
In the dark they glimmer,
The sit-here lights ablaze.

Right you were, right you were,
When you said that we should leave the car
Over there, over there.

Waiting for the sit-here Moon
By the Blue Lagoon.

Reflected in the river,
Shimmering and strange,
In the dark they glimmer,
The sit-here lights ablaze.
